Hexagon Accelerates Productivity with WORKPLAN 2024.1 Release
Hexagon is proud to announce the latest iteration of its WORKPLAN management solution,
WORKPLAN 2024.1. The updated release embodies enhancements tailored to our primary
markets, Mold&Die and Sheet Metal, while incorporating substantial improvements for the
Wood & Stone markets.
The latest updates in WORKPLAN 2024.1 center around Production Tracking, significantly
improving real-time part status monitoring. The high-stakes Mold & Die market often deals with
the complex task of managing more than 100 parts and assemblies per project – understanding
the status of which is paramount.
To provide a swift, comprehensive snapshot of each Assembly or Sub-Assembly, we’ve
implemented a new “Assembly status” feature. This color-coded system enables users to
quickly gauge project progress at a glance.
Improvements have also been made to the ‘Progress by Assembly’ screen, which now includes a visual progress bar. This intuitive enhancement provides immediate insight into the equilibrium between predicted and actual time expenditure. Enhancing external operations management, to guarantee a smooth manufacturing workflow, is another key update.
In response to the Sheet Metal market’s need for frequent re-quoting due to fluctuating material prices or technology upgrades, WORKPLAN now provides the ability to keep track of the last price calculation date for components and batch mode price recalculations.
WORKPLAN and Radquote have solidified their connection, allowing complex components to be imported from Radquote to manage complex technical breakdowns.
The RADAN plug-in now includes Order Line’s internal due date as a distinguished column, offering programmers an improved overview of their tasks.
The updated release also extends capabilities to effectively serve the Wood & Stone markets, resulting in a robust partnership with Cabinet Vision 2024.1. Optimized based on Cabinet Vision’s database structure modification, the updated WORKPLAN handles multiple identical panels. This is a much-needed feature as Cabinet Vision projects often include identical panels.
Management of Multiple Identical Panels
The programs generated by S2M in Cabinet Vision that contains multiple identical panels are in WORKDPLAN with the correct quantity of panels.
Additional updates within the new release include the introduction of Crystal Report connectivity for printing templates. This indeed opens a plethora of opportunities to connect additional Report & Printing Template engines, further customizing the user experience.
Modern reporting needs are kept at the forefront with the addition of a Power BI Connector. This acknowledges the growing market demand for sophisticated digital reporting tools.
True to form, WORKPLAN remains adaptable to integrating with External Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI. This added feature allows users to export their data onto a web interface for dynamic reports, key performance indicators, and other insights equipped with a fresh, aesthetically pleasing look & feel.
With the debut of WORKPLAN 2024.1, Hexagon invites you to experience a remarkable upgrade that synchronizes with your needs to provide optimal efficiency and productivity.
